We as Americans are condition to pay and pay and pay until we are all paid out. We never take the time out to see how much money we are practically giving away. If a company surface who said we would give you funding without a credit check, no interest rate and no late fees, the first thing we would say; this have to have a catch to it. The company announces, yeah it is a catch, you have to pay a $125.00 application and processing fee and you as a consumer would say yeah I knew it and then you would probably say I'm not paying an application and processing fee and the chances of me getting this loan is slim to none but you would go somewhere and put in an application to obtain a loan, you get approved and they didn't charge you a processing fee or nothing. They approved you for a $5000.00 loan and they give you a 18% interest rate and you're happy. Don't you know you would be paying them almost $10,000.00 back give or take but you're happy. You could have paid $125.00 and maybe gotten approved and would have only had to pay back the $5000.00. I don't know which one would be smarter but I'll take my chance on losing $125.00 than giving away $10,000.00, but this is the way we are condition to think this way, just giving away money we don't have to.
As a consumer I realize how much money I was just giving away. We as consumers can spend 125.00 as quick as three hours and we want know exactly what we spent it on. We pay high interest on things and never think twice about it until we really do the math. We lived for that moment of approval and onced we get approved for a loan we're happy. Why be happy about something that's going to take you about 7years to pay off.
