Standing flowers and large arrangements
Standing arrangements are designed to stand on the floor or make an impact in a large space. They are popular for business openings, events and receptions, and in calmer colours as a dignified tribute.
How to choose
- Bright colours for openings and celebrations.
- White and green for offices and formal events.
- For sympathy, see sympathy flowers.
Good to know
For openings, arrange delivery for the day before or early on the day, and include the business name and a contact number. See grand opening flowers. Delivery is a flat €7 anywhere in Germany.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should opening flowers arrive?
Ideally the day before or early on opening day, so the owner can place them before guests arrive.
What should I write on an opening card?
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zur Eröffnung und viel Erfolg! means congratulations on the opening and lots of success.
Are large arrangements suitable for restaurants?
Yes, but choose lightly scented flowers so they do not compete with the food.
